Jonat's Saga

　イーベイにてグレッグが出品中の初期作品の一。

Jonat’s Saga is one of the first Gloranthan novels that I wrote in the earliest days of Glorantha (around 1967). Jonat, the young barbarian, travels to decadent Seshnela and returns home to save his people. This volume is SO old that it’s just about useless as research source material for Glorantha. For instance, the deities are quite different: here I see Erta or Ara, the white moon goddess of death; and Tol, red moon wargod, etc.) This is the star appearance by that later-famous Gloranthan race of darkness, the Tamali. (huh? who?) But this is one of the early, formative pieces of an ambitious though perhaps unskilled young writer.

　フロネラのジャニューブ川南岸を領する蛮族王国ジョナーテラの始祖とおぼしき英雄蛮人ジョナートが、堕落したセシュネラにおもむいた後、故郷を救うというお話らしい。初期作品なので、現今のグローランサ解釈には使えないよー、とのことですが、このあらすじだけでも入札したくなります。ただすでに高額状態なのでアレですけれども（；´Д｀）
　鮎方さん（id:Ayukata）のところでも話題に上りましたが、Tamaliってなんざんしょ。「後に有名になった暗黒の種族」らしいんですが……“有名”？なんだろう……。
